Conference News

April 2012
It is now only ten (10) weeks till we all meet with you in Christchurch.
Please note on the Home Page that we have a venue change for the Exhibitions.
The Museum has been closed for further Earthquake strengthening, another hiccup which we could have done without, but never mind. We have been most fortunate in being able to obtain space to Exhibit at the Buddhist Temple in Riccarton.
Many of you will have visited the Temple in 2009, when Yao Hong Ying's silk embroideries were exhibited there.
It is a very calm and serene gallery, with a vegetarian café on site.
The opening of the exhibition for those who have registered, will also be held on the premises, at the earlier time of 5.30 – 7.00 pm on Friday 6 July 2012..
Please note the Gallery is not open on Mondays.

All other preparations are moving along and we are all looking forward to hosting our guests at St Bede's College, Christchurch.

Best Wishes to you All

Pauline Cosgrove Haggerty

March 2012
On behalf of the Conference Committee I wish to thank all those who have registered for Conference and/or Classes, your support and enthusiasm has been very encouraging. The workshops have been updated once more, indicating those classes that are FULL and also the classes that have been cancelled due to lack of viable numbers. There are still places available in the other classes, so if you have not yet sent through a registration, be quick and email Diane or Lorraine so as not to be disappointed. Momentum is building with our planning, and I am sure you will be just as excited as we are to be able to join with you all for a funfilled week.
Regards Pauline
